About KUULI
Kuuli grew out of my own experience with online dating. What should have been an opportunity to meet someone meaningful often felt exhausting—mixed intentions, unnecessary drama, and conversations that took time and energy without going anywhere.
During and after COVID, I felt that disconnect even more. Technology kept us in touch, but it also made it easier to keep one another at a distance, hiding behind filtered photos, carefully crafted profiles, or identities that weren’t real.
Building another dating app might seem like an unlikely response. But I wanted to use technology differently: to help people get beyond appearances and understand who they’re actually meeting.
That’s why I created Kuuli. The idea is simple: start with substance. Ask meaningful questions about values, behavior, and what people want from a relationship. Bring together behavioral psychology and astrology as different ways to explore compatibility, with the goal of helping people find a companion to share their lives with.
No swipes. No games. No endless texting. Just a more intentional way to meet someone—and see where a real connection can lead.
The birth of Kuuli.

The word Kuuli is believed to mean intimate companion — not just romantic partner, but trusted ally. Best friend. The person you build life with.
We chose the name KUULI because we believe modern dating has drifted too far from where relationships truly begin.
